The Dinosaur Game (also called the T-Rex game) is the endless runner that famously appears on the browser's "no internet" page. Here you can play the dinosaur game online any time, with or without a connection problem, on desktop or phone. No download, no signup. It is also known as Chrome Dino, the Google dinosaur game, T-Rex Runner or simply the no internet game.
The game first appeared in 2014 on Google Chrome's "No internet" error page, created by members of the Chrome design team. In Chrome you can still open it by typing chrome://dino in the address bar. This page runs the same open-source code, so you can play any time, even when your connection is working.
Jump a little late rather than early, hold the jump key for long cacti groups, and duck instead of jumping when a bird flies at head height. At high speed, watch the ground ahead, not the dino.
Is this the same dinosaur game as the offline page? Yes, it runs the open-source T-Rex runner code unchanged.
Does it work without internet? Once the page has loaded, the game itself needs no connection.
