Knife Throwing Game — Hit the Spinning Log

Knife Throw is a free knife throwing game. A wooden log spins at the top of the screen and you throw knives into it one at a time. Every knife has to land in open wood: hit a knife that is already stuck and your run is over. Land them all and the log breaks apart, then the next one spins a little faster. It runs in your browser with no download and no signup.

How to Play

Throw: tap the screen, click, or press Space. The knife flies straight up into the log.
Timing: wait for a gap in the log to come round to the bottom before you throw.
Knives: the column in the bottom left shows how many knives the stage needs.
Clear the stage: land every knife and the log splits apart.
Game over: one knife touching another ends the run.

Logs and Bosses

Stages 1–2 — the log turns at a steady speed.
From stage 3 — logs speed up and slow down, or switch direction, and some start with knives already in them.
Every fifth stage — a boss log that spins faster, changes direction without warning and needs more knives.

Apples

From stage 2, apples sit on the edge of the log. Hit one with a knife to collect it. Your apples add up across every game you play.

Tips

Watch one gap. Pick a wide gap between knives and throw as it reaches the bottom.
Don't rush. There is no timer, so wait for a safe moment.
On reversing logs, throw just after the log changes direction, when it is moving slowest.
