Bubble Volley is a classic bubble-popping game where you aim and shoot bubbles at a colorful cluster hanging from the top of the board. Land your bubble next to two or more of the same color to pop the group, and every bubble no longer connected to the top falls away for bonus points. Clear the whole board to finish the level. It plays right in your browser on desktop and mobile — no download, no signup.
How to Play Bubble Volley
- Aim with the mouse, or drag your finger on a phone. The dotted guide shows where your bubble will go, including one bounce off a side wall.
- Click, or lift your finger, to shoot. The bubble flies in a straight line, bounces off the side walls and sticks as soon as it touches another bubble or the top of the board.
- Connect 3 or more bubbles of the same color, counting the one you shot, and the whole group pops.
- Any bubbles that are no longer connected to the top of the board fall off.
- The small bubble beside the shooter shows your next color, so you can plan one shot ahead. Bubbles cannot be swapped.
- Clear every bubble to win the level. If any bubble crosses the danger line at the bottom, the game is over.
Misses and New Rows
A shot that pops nothing is a miss. The dots next to the shooter show how many misses you have left. When they run out, a new row of bubbles slides in from the top, pushing everything one row closer to the danger line, and the dots refill — one fewer each time, until the count starts over:
- Levels 1–3: 7, then 6, then 5 misses between new rows, then back to 7.
- Levels 4–12: 6, 5, 4.
- Level 13 and up: 4, 3, 2.
A new row only brings colors that are still on the board, so a color you have cleared never comes back.
Scoring and Levels
- Pop: 10 points for every bubble in a popped group.
- Drop: 20 points for every bubble that falls, doubled to 40 when 5 or more fall from one shot.
- Level clear: a bonus of 500 × the level number — 500 on level 1, 1,000 on level 2, and so on.
Level 1 starts with 6 rows of bubbles in 5 colors. Later levels start fuller — 7, 8 and 9 rows, then 10 from level 5 and 11 from level 10 — and from level 3 a sixth color joins the board. Your best score is saved on this device.

Bubble Volley Tips
- Use the walls. A bank shot reaches gaps you cannot hit directly, and the aim guide shows exactly where it will bounce.
- Go for drops. Popping a few bubbles that hold up a big cluster sends everything under them falling, and a falling bubble is worth twice a popped one — four times when 5 or more fall at once.
- Plan one shot ahead. If the current bubble has nowhere useful to go, park it where the next color can finish a match.
- Watch the dots. With one miss left, take a sure match over a risky long shot — a shot that pops something does not use up a miss.
- Clear out whole colors. Your next bubble is always a color that is still on the board, so wiping out a color means fewer colors to juggle.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is Bubble Volley free to play?
Yes. Bubble Volley is completely free and runs in your browser. There is nothing to download, no signup, and no coins or lives to buy.
How does the miss counter work?
Every shot that pops nothing uses one miss, and the dots next to the shooter show how many you have left. When they run out, a new row of bubbles slides in from the top, and the next count is one miss shorter until it starts over: 7, 6, 5 misses on levels 1–3, 6, 5, 4 on levels 4–12, and 4, 3, 2 from level 13 on. A shot that pops something never uses a miss.
How are points scored?
Each popped bubble is worth 10 points and each falling bubble 20, doubled to 40 when 5 or more fall from one shot. Clearing the board adds a bonus of 500 times the level number.
When is the game over?
The game ends as soon as any bubble crosses the danger line near the bottom of the board. You will see your score next to your best score, and Play Again starts a new game.
Does the game save my best score?
Yes. Your best score is stored in your browser on this device.
Can I play Bubble Volley on my phone?
Yes. The board fits your screen. Drag to aim and lift your finger to shoot. The small bubble beside the shooter shows which color comes next.
